How do you know if you are working with qualified professionals?

May 9, 2012 by Sinclair Prosser Gasior

As a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, I must complete 36 hours of continuing legal education per year.  This is important because in Maryland there is no requirement that attorneys obtain continuing education credits.  Once an attorney passes the Bar, they never have to open a book again. With the changes in the laws that affect so many facets of our estate planning … [Read more...] about How do you know if you are working with qualified professionals?

Options for Paying for Long Term Care

April 19, 2012 by Sinclair Prosser Gasior

How to pay for long-term care is a question that keeps individuals up at night.  For certain families, there may be several options, for others, only one. Long-term care involves medical and non-medical care to people who have a chronic illness or disability. Most long-term care is to assist people with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and using the bathroom. Long-term care … [Read more...] about Options for Paying for Long Term Care

Insurance Can Play an Important Role in Estate Planning

April 12, 2012 by Sinclair Prosser Gasior

Over the 22 years of practicing law I have met with many people and have reviewed their financial affairs. Although I am not a financial advisor and I do not sell insurance, I believe insurance and financial planning play an important role in protecting you and your family. There are many types of insurance and I do not have enough time to provide a comprehensive overview of the ins and outs of … [Read more...] about Insurance Can Play an Important Role in Estate Planning

March 7, 2012 by Sinclair Prosser Gasior

Knowing what your Healthcare Estate Planning Documents are and how they each play a vital role in the success of your plan is important.  In our firm we have a number of documents that we include in every estate planning package and there’s a very good reason for it.  You need each one. Medicaid – Long Term Care

January 31, 2012 by Sinclair Prosser Gasior

Testimonials

5 Stars

We initiated estate planning following a presentation by Sinclair Prosser Attorney Jon Gasior. We were so impressed, we contracted with them to complete our estate planning. Subsequently, we assembled information on our assets and Sinclair Prosser Gasior did the rest. Correspondence was communicated to our financial institutions and the estate was established. We were very pleased with the courteous manner of the Sinclair Prosser Gasior staff. However, it was their professionalism that made us satisfied we chose this firm to handle our estate. We have nothing but praise for Sinclair Prosser Gasior .
