As a small law firm we take seriously an attorney’s ethical duty to communicate. Our support staff answers the phone during normal business hours, returns phone calls promptly, and schedules appointments when it is convenient for you. We understand the rules of professional responsibility and takes pride in our service to clients.
A strong team with a client-centered approach is the key. The support staff must be accessible, experienced and willing to help. Furthermore, the attorney must rely on his or her staff, so that the team is empowered and ultimately successful. Finally, the staff must be confident that the attorney is also accessible and willing to offer assistance.
With the events in Newton, CT, Aurora, CO, and recently in Boston, our peace of mind is being threatened. Each day is a gift we cannot take lightly. That does not mean we shouldn’t make plans. We should always be thinking towards the future, but with the understanding that it is not guaranteed.
As Americans we are strong. We can mourn and grieve for those lost, but then look to tomorrow. The difficulty we sometimes have is making the tomorrow after tomorrow a top priority. As we hug our loved ones tighter these days, let’s also think about their future. A future that may not include us. Let’s start today in making plans to address what inevitably lies ahead.
