Many of you may remember Jacqueline. As a student, Jacqueline worked part-time as a receptionist, and later as an assistant in the Estate Administration division of Sinclair Prosser Gasior Her mother Maureen Short also works at the law firm. She is the grand-daughter of Maureen Mershon and the late R. Ronald Sinclair, and niece of Attorney Colleen Sinclair Prosser. Jacqueline is very dear to us at the law firm and we hope you join us in helping her through this difficult challenge in her life.
Imagine going to the eye doctor for what you expect will be a routine eye exam and finding out that you actually have an inoperable tumor…
This is exactly what happened to 25 year old Jacqueline Short, a life-long resident of Severna Park and beloved employee of O’Loughlin’s in Arnold for over three years.
In November 2012 Jacqueline went to the eye doctor because her vision was blurry. Within days she was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor known as an optic pathway glioma. Six weeks of daily radiation and daily doses of steroids have left Jacqueline unable to work for the past three months, while depleting her savings to pay her rent, car payment, and various other expenses as well as mounting medical bills.
As a result, a non-profit organization, Friends of Jacqueline Short has been organized to support Jacqueline in her time of need. We would like to thank you in advance for any donation that you can make to help us in this important effort.
